As one of the contributing speakers at Chambers' latest Business & Property Conference, Trinity’s Andrew Crammond delivered a talk entitled: ‘When is it Worth it? Summary Judgement Applications’. In the session, Andrew provides a reminder and refresher of the principles of summary judgement applications pursuant to CPR Part 24. Also, by reference to relevant and recent case law, Andrew’s talk aims to provide some guidance as to the circumstances when summary judgment applications may be worthwhile.
