Landscape Grant Program Guidelines - June 2026
At the June 2026 Sierra Nevada Conservancy Governing Board meeting, the Board approved the new Landscape Grant Program guidelines, marking an important milestone in expanding landscape-scale forest restoration and wildfire resilience across the Sierra-Cascade Region. Developed from lessons learned through the Landscape Investment Strategy and Landscape Grant Pilot Program, the new guidelines are designed to support coordinated portfolios of restoration projects, strengthen partnerships, and help increase the pace and scale of work needed to address California's growing wildfire challenges. In this presentation, Luke Hunt and Sarah Campe provide an overview of the Landscape Grant Program, how it was developed, and how it will help support healthier forests, more resilient watersheds, and safer communities across the Region.
