GO AS FAR EAST AS YOU CAN - Steamrail Victoria's The Gippslander tour 2025 - 100 SUBSCRIBER SPECIAL

Welcome to this video presented by VIcRailGuy Rail Media In this video, we head out into Gippsland on a chase of Steamrail's 2025 Gippslander tour, which went out to Bairnsdale, which happens to be the easternmost point a train can go in Victoria. This tour was led by Steam locomotive A2 986, which dates back to 1915. It was joined by V/Line's heritage locomotive A66, which originally dates back to 1952 as a B Class locomotive but was rebuilt in the 1980s. We see this tour at Caulfield, Sale and Traralgon stations, as well as when overtaking it at Westall Yard and Hernes Oak Loop.
