Steel vs. Bismuth vs. Lead Ammo TESTED | Duck + Pheasant Hunting Loads

I pattern tested and ballistics gel tested steel vs. bismuth vs. lead pheasant and waterfowl hunting ammo to see how they compared. All three loads had the same shot size, the same velocity and similar pellet counts. I tested Kent TealSteel steel, BOSS Warcheif Bismuth, and Federal Prairie Storm lead, all at 40 yards, 1350 FPS, and number 5 shot. Both the bismuth and the lead are copper plated, and I think the steel is zinc plated but confirming that is more difficult than I expected. Keep in mind that lead shot cannot be used for hunting ducks or any waterfowl, only pheasants. While steel and bismuth can be used for waterfowl hunting.
