Hiking MT. TALINIS | Dauin, Negros Oriental Philippines (Bediao Trail) | Silent Hiking Video | 4K

Follow me on Instagram and Tiktok @neilpatrckk FB Page: Neil Begasa Dubbed as “Cuernos de Negros” or the Horns of Negros, Mount Talinis is known for having the highest peak in the province of Negros Oriental. It holds its position as the second highest mountain in Negros, next only to the mighty Kanlaon. It stands 1,903 metres (6,243 ft) above sea level. It features lakes, waterfalls, mossy forest and sulfur vents. Usually it requires 3 days to reach the summit but for this hike we did it only overnight for approximately 8 hours. Summit Assault is 45 mins from campsite. This is Major climb with a difficulty of 6/9, Trail class 2-4. Our entry point was in Bediao, Dauin. We did a backtrail route. Campsite is at Lake Nailig. There are several watersource along the trail, the main one is in the lake. We didn’t take the usual Apolong, Valencia route which we could’ve pass Casaroro Falls, Twin Falls and Sulfuric River due to its closure.
