Thank You Scientist - Rube Goldberg Variations (Guitar Cover)

First of all, thank you very much for watching my video! This is the first guitar cover for Rube Golberg Variations by Thank You Scientis, and I am very proud of it! Even though the album Stranger Heads Prevail is almost four years old, there isn't a single guitar cover of this, so I decided to make it extra special by filming and recording it in single take; not an easy task, because this is a pretty complex instrumental. This Jazz Fusion/Prog Rock piece features six instruments (including a violin, a saxophone and a trumpet) tons of sections with little repetition, various genres (Jazz, Funk, Bossa nova, Rock, you name it!), advanced guitar techniques (tapped harmonics, hybrid picking, string skipping, etc.), lots of scales, and all of the jazzy chords! It even has improvised solos of every instrument (that's why I didn't bother to learn the guitar solo; too bad that I don't have a proper backing track to take a shot at it). Everything in just under nine minutes, how crazy is that? Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I suffered to get it in one take, haha.
