Exploring Fiji’s Hidden Isles: Taveuni, Waterfalls & the Ringgolds (Drone + Diving)

In July 2024, I spent a few weeks exploring one of Fiji’s most remote corners: Taveuni and the Ringgold Isles. We hiked to the natural rock slide, explored the beautiful Lavena waterfalls, and snorkelled the vibrant Rainbow Reef. When the weather opened up, we sailed to the isolated Ringgold Isles, explored "the volcano" aka Cobia Island, spearfished the outer reefs, and visited the tiny Qilo School After visiting the tiny Qilo School, I was blown away by how few books they had. Thanks to a group of generous Kiwis - and a New Zealand-based shipping company - we were able to organise and send a large crate of books to help grow their modest library.
