Pulley Problems: Particle Strikes the Ground - A-Level Maths

In this video, I demonstrate how to solve a pulley problem when one particle strikes the ground. Before the particle strikes the ground, the string in the pulley is taut and therefore tension acts on both particles. After the particle strikes the ground, the other particle will continue to ascend, causing the string to slacken and lose its tension.
