Age 40. After graduating from university in 2011, he traveled to Germany to study clinical medicine at the Large Animal Clinic of the University of Hannover. He then traveled to Kentucky, USA, where he trained as a veterinary assistant at Park Equine Hospital. After returning to Japan in 2014, he worked in the medical department of the Hidaka Light Horse Breeding Cooperative, and has been working at Shadai Farm since 2016. He will be appointed representative of Okaribe Farm in the spring of 2023. He is also an active shareholder, investing in several generations of horses. He has invested in Tastiella (Derby winner), Lord Valenti (4 wins), and Miracle Tiara (4 wins), among others, and has a total of 30 wins in two generations of 5- and 6-year-olds.
