The raspberry harvest this year is excellent. I'm harvesting another batch and want to share with you a very good remedy that can be made from raspberries. We'll be making raspberry tincture. It's used in folk medicine to treat a number of ailments. Since raspberries have diaphoretic properties, they are used for colds and respiratory ailments. How to make a medicinal tincture: Take the berries, sort them, but don't wash them. Pour them into a container, such as a two-liter jar, to the very top. Fill with good moonshine or store-bought vodka. Pour vodka to the very top. Close the lid tightly and place in a dark, warm place for several weeks. Shake periodically. The tincture is ready. You can strain it or leave it with the raspberries. The raspberries will shrink in size, and the tincture will acquire a beautiful ruby ​​color.
