With 150mm of rear travel, a 170mm fork up front, and the brand-new Bosch motor, this bike instantly feels lighter, quicker, and more playful than the Shuttle LT I’ve been riding. Even just rolling through the parking lot, the Bosch Race mode had me laughing out loud at how powerful it is. On the trail, the RockShox Zeb and Super Deluxe combo felt buttery quiet and really supportive. It’s the kind of suspension that disappears underneath you while keeping the bike glued to the ground. I noticed how agile it felt in tighter sections and how stable it was once things opened up — a nice balance that makes it climb well and descend with confidence. The quiet drivetrain and DT hub made the whole package eerily silent, letting me hear nothing but tires on dirt. After a big day out, nearly 5,000 feet of climbing, and still 20% battery left, my first impression is that the Shuttle AM is going to be a favorite. It combines Bosch power with Pivot’s DW-Link efficiency, making it a bike that feels just as fun to pop and play with as it is to smash through chunky terrain.
