Chinatown Complex Hawker Centre is one of the most popular and large hawker centre situated in the heart of Singapore. It offers a range of various dishes, such as Hainanese chicken rice, dumplings, char kway teow, satay, rojak, popiah and laksa, at reasonable prices. Location: Chinatown Complex, 335 Smith St, Singapore 050335 MRT: Chinatown MRT (Exit A) Here’s the food we ate: Xiao Long Bao: A type of Chinese steamed dumpling filled with meat and/or seafood, and a savoury broth. They are traditionally steamed in small bamboo steaming baskets. The most common filling for xiao long bao is pork, but you can also find xiao long bao filled with crab meat, shrimp, or vegetables. Szechuan Spicy Wanton: This dish is a popular Chinese appetizer made of small dumplings filled with minced meat and spices, served in a spicy sauce made with Szechuan peppercorns, chili oil, garlic, and other seasonings.
