Hi, this is Scott with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at and installing our Roadmaster Smart Diodes for our 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. So the kit we installed today is gonna come with everything you need. It's gonna have your six-way plug on the front here. It's gonna come with your cord, your wiring, and all of your diodes that you're gonna mount in the rear of your vehicle. There's also a kit available where you're getting just your diodes and some wire to run through the back. So if you already have your cord and your plug, that's the one you're gonna be looking for. So if your vehicle has park sense and LED lights, chances are if you're getting it set up the flat tows, you're gonna have to have the smart diodes in the back. And what that's gonna do for you is be able to give you all of your signals that you need in the back of your vehicle while you're flat towing down the road. It's going to give you your brake signal, your taillight signals, and also your turn, your left and right signals as well. So the five main components that you're gonna need to get yourself set up for flat towing is you're gonna need your tow bar, you're gonna need a base plate, you're gonna need your safety cables, you're also gonna need wiring and your braking system to get yourself all set up, to get yourself ready to flat tow down the road. So once you get this all installed, all you'll have to do is just plug in your cord and hook it up to the back of your RV and you're set to go. That's what's really nice about having this set up. So as far as installation goes with this one, it is pretty tricky. Sometimes you have to run a bunch of wire and hide a bunch of wire on this one. So it can be a little tricky to do. If it's something you don't have time to do yourself, you can always take a look at our dealer locator and get it all set up for you to have it installed locally. Or if you feel like doing it yourself, stick around, watch our video, and we'll help you get it installed. To start our installation, one of the things you're gonna need to do is get your wires ran up into the front. So we have our colored wires. We're gonna have green, yellow, brown, and white. And these are gonna be coming out the front here where we're gonna be mounting our plug. So what I like to do is while we're doing that, we're gonna be installing a charge line as well. And that's going to be our red wire that we have added onto this. So when I run my wires down and through, I'll just drop 'em down up here behind our headlight. And while we have our fascia off, it makes it a little bit easier for you guys to see. And we'll just tie off as we're going down after we have the length of wire we want. I just like to tuck everything back in behind as much as I can when I'm running it down. That way, it doesn't get interfere with anything. So after we do that, I like to leave a little extra out of the front. That way, I can always come back through and have a little more room to tie off anything. I can always trim some of this off too if I need to, but that way, if I need to put my wiring on and have a little room, if I have the fascia on, this is gonna help 'cause I can just run it through and it gives me room to install it on the plug. Now you can do this and have this installed with your fascia on, so don't worry about having to take it off if this is all you want to do is just your wiring. We did pull off our white wire after we got it up underneath of our hood. Our white wire that we have is going to be our ground for our plug. So all we needed was just to run right up here to our factory ground and this will be where we ground to. So all I did is just strip back my wire, twist this up, and now I'll take a ring terminal, and I'll get that crimped into place. Now since this is the only length of wire we're gonna need for our ground on this particular run, I did strip off all of the white, and we're gonna use that later on down the line in the back of our vehicle. And it's always nice to hav
