This video is a major announcement from our family to all of you! ✨ We have finally bought our dream home in Japan (a newly built detached house, 4LDK)! 🎉 Since leaving France at the age of 17, I've lived an unstable life, moving every two years. But now, I've decided to "settle down in Japan" and build a house in search of stability. More than anything, I wanted to create a "home" for my beloved daughter, Mame-chan, a place she could always return to. It's a little sad that she won't have any memories of our current rental apartment, but from now on, we'll create many family memories in this new home! However, the journey to get here was far from easy… In France, buying a detached house in the city center is practically impossible financially, and I was constantly surprised by cultural differences, such as the emphasis on "new construction" (important for earthquake resistance and seismic safety reasons), which is commonplace in Japan. Furthermore, the "mortgage application process" as a YouTuber and a foreigner was incredibly difficult, and I hit many walls. I found our home, a little outside the city center, after numerous viewings—something you can't fully understand just by looking online (like on SUUMO). In the latter half of the video, I talk about the floor plan (4LDK), a room tour, and my "next big goal" that I've decided on after buying this house (something I didn't even have in France…a driver's license!?). All future video shoots will take place in this new house!
