Facts from this vlog: The main beach (My Khe Beach): Beautifully empty during the day and ideal for chilling under palm trees. In the evenings (from about 5 p.m. onwards), it gets extremely crowded. A beach chair costs about 40,000 dong (just under €1.50) per day. There are lockers for valuables and public restrooms in the beach clubs. The secret cove (Bounce Beach / Hippie Beach): About 20-30 minutes from the center towards Hai Van Pass. Here you won't find any big waves, but you will find jet skis, banana boats, an expensive beach club, and a relaxed hippie bar with a DJ at sunset. Free & no tourist tax: Unlike many beaches in Europe, there is no tourist tax in Da Nang – access to the sea is completely free everywhere!
