🌴 WE WENT TO A TRADITIONAL SASAK VILLAGE BY MOTORCYCLE! Surprising Traditions in Indonesia and 7 KG OF DURIAN! 😱🥥 In this episode, we set off from Mataram on our motorcycles and went to one of the most traditional Sasak villages in Lombok! 🛵 Along the way, while refueling the motorcycle, we talked about the village we were going to, discussing the lifestyle, traditions, and culture of the Sasak people. When we arrived at the village, a guide greeted us and explained the traditional dance performance that would take place there 💃 We also learned about the village's beliefs, customs, and long-standing culture. We were truly surprised to see the houses made of straw! 🏠 Life here was completely different from concrete structures. One of the most interesting details during the trip was that some marriages here are conducted through the "bride abduction" tradition 😳 Our guide explained this tradition to us in detail. Next, we headed to Tanjung Aan Beach, one of Lombok's most beautiful beaches! 🌊 With its turquoise sea, pristine white sand, and drone footage, it was truly breathtaking. We spent some time enjoying the sea and capturing the amazing views 🚁 In the evening, we went to break our fast with the person whose house we were staying at 🍽️ At the end of the day, things took a completely different turn because we bought a whopping 7 KG of durian! 😅🥥 Four of us sat and ate the durian, discussing its taste and talking about its history, why it's forbidden to bring it into certain places, and why it's prohibited to carry it around.
