Historic garden tour: Burnley Gardens
This week on The Horti-Culturalists we're visiting the wonderful Burnley Gardens, a significant historic garden in Melbourne that is also home to one of the country's most important horticultural colleges! We'll be talking to Greg Moore OAM, the former Principal of Burnley, about what role the garden plays in horticulture, learn a little of it's history and look at some of the key landscape features that make this amazing garden so special! We'll also find out why Stephen didn't study here....and visit the wonderful native garden! You can find out more about the gardens and courses here: https://safes.unimelb.edu.au/engage/v... And you can find the Friends of Burnley Gardens here: https://www.fobg.org.au/blog/ We've made other videos at Burnley which you can see here: • BURNLEY GARDENS The plants we look at in this video are: Pinus canariensis Gardenia thunbergia Acaena novae-zelandiae
