Every tattoo artist has old work that represents where they were at that point in their journey. In this video, I look back at some of my older tattoos and break down how I would approach them differently today. This isn't about tearing my past work apart it's about recognizing growth. As artists, our understanding of design, contrast, composition, textures, and value changes over time. Looking back is one of the best ways to see how far you've come and identify what continues to make your work better.
