Despite the impurity of the Saha world, he travels there, manifesting his power through an earthquake and a shower of flowers, using the samadhi of Appearing in All Bodily Forms. He takes any necessary form (king, woman, child, or even a Buddha) to embody active compassion and save beings. Nichiren Daishonin reveals that this Bodhisattva is all living beings and that the "Wonderful Sound" is the sound of our own voice chanting Nam-myōho-renge-kyō. This practice of the Daimoku affirms radical non-dualism: the body of ordinary beings is the body of the Buddha, and the place where one practices becomes the Land of eternally tranquil light.
