Like the impossibility of seeing one’s own eyes without a mirror, awareness is the ever-present source behind all perception. Personal awareness, or focused attention, acts as a portal to this deeper, limitless awareness. Practices like "putting attention into attention" can help settle the mind and break the pattern of seeking, allowing us to recognize the freedom that is always present. Ultimately, this absolute freedom isn’t achieved through effort, but by realizing the stillness and light that has always been within — an essence available to everyone, at all times, regardless of experience or worthiness.
