Hangman’s Hill in Epping Forest has been the subject of eerie legends for decades. Cars appear to roll uphill against gravity. Some say it’s the ghost of a hanged man. Others whisper about jinns. Science calls it an optical illusion. Lighting was limited – I relied on a small portable light for close-ups and my car headlights for the rest. A full rig wasn’t possible, as filming here has to be done quickly with security nearby.
