Sailing ORIZON #44 - Italienische Adria - der Wind lässt erst mal auf sich warten...

Sailing ORIZON - Segeln im Mittelmeer... Nach einer Nacht vor Anker in der Lagune geht es an der italienischen Adriaküste entlang Richtung Süden. Es hat null Wind also muss der Diesel herhalten. Nach über 50 nm steuern wir das hübsche Chioggia in der Lagune von Venedig an. Es folgt ein weiterer langer Schlag ohne Wind nach Rimini. Als wir ein paar gewittrige Tage später in Rimini ablegen steht ein guter Nordost und wir kommen schnell voran... aber wohin wissen wir noch nicht so recht, auf eine weitere Nacht in einer Marina haben wir jedenfalls keine Lust. Unser Versuch an einem Ankerplatz für die Nacht scheitert, da es dort zuviel Schwell hat, also segeln wir weiter. Wind und Wellen nehmen über Nacht gehörig zu und wir überlegen ob wir die Isole Tremiti bei diesen Bedingungen zum Ankern ansteuern sollen... ++++++++++++++++++++++++ After a night at anchor in the lagoon, we head south along the Italian Adriatic coast. There is no wind so the diesel has to serve. After more than 50 nm we head for the pretty Chioggia in the lagoon of Venice. Another long stroke with no wind to Rimini follows. When we cast off in Rimini a few thunderstorm days later, there is a good north-east and we are making fast progress ... but where we don't really know yet, we don't feel like spending another night in a marina. Our attempt at an anchorage for the night fails because there is too much swell there, so we sail on. Wind and waves increase significantly overnight and we consider whether we should head for the Isole Tremiti to anchor in these conditions ...
