Confronting My Narcissistic Pastor & Leaving My Church!! (My Testimony)

In this video, I share my deeply personal journey of confronting the narcissistic leadership at Life Christian Centre in Adelaide, and ultimately making the difficult decision to leave the church. For years, I felt a growing sense of frustration as my God-given gifts in ministry were overlooked—not because of a lack of calling, but because of blatant nepotism and control. I served faithfully, but opportunities to be used in my calling were reserved for those with the right connections. What troubled me even more was the seeker-friendly preaching that lacked conviction, avoided truth, and prioritized comfort over transformation. Sermons became watered-down messages that failed to challenge or grow the body of Christ. But the final straw came with the unbiblical authority of the pastor. I was told I wasn't allowed to read the Bible or pray with friends outside the church leadership’s oversight—because it was “too dangerous.” This controlling mindset is not biblical. It’s spiritual manipulation. When I finally confronted the pastor and made the decision to leave, he coldly said he didn’t care that I was going—before awkwardly correcting himself.
