How to move Avios between British Airways, Qatar, Iberia, Aer Lingus and Finnair

(00:00) - "Avios" is a rewards currency shared by a number of airlines including British Airways, Qatar, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Finnair, Vueling, (and now Loganair as well). Unfortunately, it's not quite as simple as collecting a big pool of points you can earn and spend seamlessly across all participating programs (though that's not far off from the truth). For the most part, the Avios you earn from one program will stay in that program's account unless you actually move it elsewhere, and your British Airways account serves as a good hub for doing that.
