Global awarding winning Singer and Song writer Lucenzo is a French artist of Portuguese descent. He discovered his passion for music at a very early age and by 6 was virtuoso on the piano. By 11 years of age he was taking the stage by storm singing his heart out to audiences. Faouze Barkati, founder and owner of Yanis Records, a French independent record label is credited with discovering and signing Lucenzo. Lucenzo's niche is his innovative creative unique style of blending African Angolian rhythms together with today's Portuguese music. He enriches this juxtaposition with his multilingual gift of Portuguese, Spanish, English and French, giving it a finishing coating a rich genre. The emergent sound of this process was the release of the hit single "Vem Danzar Kuduro". It literally exploded on dance floors across the world. His youtube video went viral and within 5 months generated over 10 Million views. It climbed to number on Club hits of France, Number one of Radio Latina and number 2 on single sales of France. It was declared the summer hit of 2010 by MTV Idol and went on to break into the European top 10. Hollywood took notice, using the song as the official soundtrack to the summer's block buster hit "Fast and the Furious 5". The song in the process spanned duets with global top artists from Pitbull to Don Omar, catapulting it to the top of the charts across the Atlantic and earning Lucenzo his first top 10 hit in the USA and Canada. Seeking to break out of his mold and to become a crossover artist, Lucenzo made a major career bold move in February 2012 by successfully negotiating a management contract with the Legendary Dieter Wiesner, Michael Jackson's former manager and confidant.
