My goal with this project is to popularize and disseminate the methods and approaches of horsemanship and ethology, so that we can all better understand and interact with horses. My content covers many topics: theory, practice, science, detailed analyses, reflections, behaviors, etc., always emphasizing sharing and exchange. Questioning and open-mindedness are integral parts of this adventure. Many renowned professionals collaborate with Anima Equi to support us and help us progress. • TEAM INTRODUCTION • My name is Mathilde. I was born in 1996 and I'm a recreational rider, primarily focused on groundwork. Horses aren't my profession; I'm an amateur, self-taught, and unqualified. I created Anima Equi in early 2015 on Facebook and started posting videos on YouTube in July 2016. I've been working on the project alone since its launch, developing it from A to Z, managing every step of the way. My two ponies are Ladakh (a gray gelding born in 2013) and Chanel (a gray female born in 2012). They are full siblings (PFS x Welsh). I'm also fortunate to be accompanied by many other horses who illustrate my content. I thank their owners for lending them and trusting me.
