Sun's out! Favorite day on the Abel Tasman Coastal Trail | New Zealand Great Walks: Backpacking Solo

Day 78: my third and favorite day on the Abel Tasman Coastal Track so far! Bark Bay Hut to Awaroa Hut. Highlight was definitely unintentionally being in the water with a HUGE manta ray / string ray in the bay of Awaroa Hut. Wow. The sun finally came out and lit the ocean water to its most beautiful blues; what a gorgeous day on trail in New Zealand. I set out on the Abel Tasman Great Walk during the first week of May (the start of the off season), but it was still pretty crowded in the huts.
