In this video I want to share two exercises that will help you to learn how to paint people in watercolor! Exercise #1 is about lightly sketching people and then painting them with one simple wash. Exercise #2 is about negative painting, meaning painting around figures and training yourself to draw people in as abstract manner as possible, but still have them read well. The exercises are based on things I learned from a wonderful book called People in Watercolor, by Trevor Waugh.
