#Непровинция. Барнаул: другой Алтай
#Non-province in Barnaul! After OKKO, we'll post it online. Barnaul is a special city for me. The first major production of my play took place here at the Shukshin Drama Theater. Konstantin Yuryevich Khabensky and Danil Chashchin staged the play "Intuition." Our project is evolving, and we understand that in addition to guests, people are interested in learning about the city and the region. We decided to invite a wonderful speaker, a wealth of information about Barnaul and the region—Konstantin Borneman, a historian, screenwriter, and co-founder of a public speaking school. Konstantin is a passionate and incredibly knowledgeable person. He explained the reason for the separation of the Altai Krai and the Altai Republic, and why Barnaul is called Barnaul. Although, of course, we wanted to know how he got from Volgograd to Barnaul. Next, we met Irina Chantseva, the owner of the "Boutique Under the Spire" store. She grew up in this iconic building, created a large retail business in fashion, and ultimately, so to speak, closed the gestalt by opening a boutique on the ground floor of that very building. We talked about fashion in the provinces. The next guest in this episode was Sofia Kulikova, director of the Laska shelter. She's an example of an effective social project. We explored how it works in detail. We also discussed how to establish contact between animals and people. For example, you can come to Laska and spend weekends with a local dog when you can't take one home for obvious reasons. For all the guests in today's episode, the idea of creating something in their native land takes precedence over the commercial aspect. The overall impression of the city was very kind and positive. Even though it seemed like I'd seen the entire country during my tour, I only truly got to know it while filming "#Non-Province." And my deepest gratitude goes to the Institute of Russian Art for their effective and prompt financial support of this and dozens of other projects. Thank you to OKKO for allowing us to make episodes publicly available after their broadcast. Produced by Agenda Media Group Meet Russia!
