In July 2023 we took a cruise in Europe for 33 days out of Dover England. We planned our own budget excursion to Berlin to view the city's many historic spots. A cruise excursion from Warnemunde to Berlin via train offered by Carnival Cruises would have cost us $580 for 2 people. We pre-booked our train tickets online and then purchased a day metro pass to explore the city. After having some food and drinks before leaving Berlin we ended up saving $400 over the price of a Carnival Excursion. In July 2023 we took a cruise in Europe for 33 days out of Dover England.
