Introducing the Maxus LDV EV80 electric van. A review of the UK's first large 100% electric van.

In this video I look at the LDV EV80 electric van. This was the first large 100% electric van in the UK. It has now been replaced with the Maxus eDeliver 9, but these original LDV vans from SAIC Motors have been available since early 2018 and are now starting to appear in the used market. Later came the Renault Master ZE33 and while these were slightly cheaper (around £55K vs £63K), they only had a 33kWh battery (vs the 56kWh pack in the EV80) and didn't have DC rapid charging.
