Written in the 1900s, get ready for a different reading experience where you have an unreliable narrator, a story line that involves betrayals, affairs, madness, and suicides. Mix in with it a non-chronological and non-linear story line and a host of characters, none of whom are particularly likeable but you glean they have more money than sense.
