Harvesting giant persimmons hidden deep in the mountains during a peaceful day in the countryside. Harvesting these beautiful fruits took time because the trees were growing on steep hillsides. Harvesting basket after basket, I carefully carried the ripe persimmons down the mountain before heading to the traditional village market. The persimmons were bright orange, soft, and naturally sweet when fully ripe. Their smooth, honey-like flesh melted in the mouth with a rich fruity flavor, making every climb worthwhile. After sorting the harvest, I packed everything and brought the fresh fruits to the village market while continuing my simple off-grid lifestyle.
