Visiting Mumbai's Iconic Haji Ali Dargah 🇮🇳

NAMASTE my friends from Mumbai, India 🇮🇳 On my first day in Mumbai (it was a Friday btw), I've visited the iconic Haji Ali Dargah mosque. The Haji Ali Dargah is a renowned Islamic shrine and an architectural marvel. Perched amidst the Arabian Sea, it's connected to the city by a narrow causeway, which gets submerged during high tide. The shrine houses the tomb of Saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, who renounced all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca. The white domed mausoleum, reflecting Indo-Islamic architecture, stands as a symbol of unity and peace, drawing devotees from various religions. Every year, thousands flock to this serene spot, especially on Fridays, to seek blessings, making it an iconic Mumbai landmark. During my visit I've met a lot of friendly Indians who showed me around and explained a lot about the history and the background of Haji Ali Dargah. From Haji Ali Dargah, I head back to Colaba for dinner. After a long long search, I've finally found an authentic Indian restaurant and enjoyed an awesome Briyani while talking to an extremely friendly Indian gentleman who was also sitting at my table.
