Sheep Handling Demonstration with Curt Pate
For more than a decade, Curt Pate has taught effective stockmanship techniques in demonstrations and clinics throughout North America and Europe. On March 22, 2016, Pate conducted a sheep handling demonstration as part of the Alberta Farm Animal Care Conference Workshop in Olds Alberta. In this video, recorded at the workshop, Pate demonstrates how handlers can move sheep easily and quietly using the animals' behaviour as a guide. Pate explains more about effective handling techniques in 'Tips for Effective Stockmanship with Curt Pate', also posted on Sheep Central Alberta.
