लिंकेज फ्रिज को कैसे ठीक करें
Refrigerant charging is a sensitive task. Even a slight increase or decrease in gas quantity directly impacts the cooling of the refrigerator and increases the load on the compressor. Extra caution is required, especially when working with the new refrigerants currently in use (such as R600a and R290, which are hydrocarbons and highly flammable). Here are some of the most important tips for perfect and safe gas charging: 1. Flushing and Cleaning (Important Steps) It is crucial to thoroughly flush the condenser and evaporator (freezer) before adding new gas to the system. The system must be free of old, clogged oil, moisture, or carbon. Use nitrogen or a suitable cleaning agent for flushing. (Never use air or moist air directly from the compressor). Always replace the filter/drier and capillary tube. Leaving an old dryer running during gas charging is an invitation to choking. 2. Deep Vacuuming The success of gas charging depends 80% on how well you vacuum. Never self-vacuum with the refrigerator's own compressor. Always use a good external vacuum pump. Vacuum for at least 20 to 30 minutes until the manifold gauge needle reaches -30 inHg. After vacuuming, wait 10 minutes and check the needle. If the needle comes back up, it means there's a minor leak somewhere in the system. 3. Weight-Based Charging The amount of gas in modern refrigerators is very small (approximately 40 grams to 100 grams). So, avoid guessing. Read the exact gram quantity listed on the sticker (Data Plate) on the back of the refrigerator. Place the gas cylinder on a digital weighing scale and add exactly the number of grams of gas to the system as indicated. Note: Gases like R600a and R290 have very low pressure, so weight matters more than a pressure gauge. 4. Monitor Back Pressure If you're checking the running pressure while charging, you need to know the correct back pressure for the refrigerant. The typical running pressure (pound-force per square inch - PSI) for common refrigerants is as follows: #RefrigeratorGasCharging
