How to Insulate a Finished Wall - KDA Designs

In this video, I demonstrate an unconventional way to insulate a finished wall. Keep in mind, this wont' give you the same results as removing the drywall and insulating to the edges of the studs. I have however, done this on all outside walls in my home and found it made a difference. It is important that you are fairly comfortable with patching a wall before you start this project. If you have never patched a wall, I would suggest watching a few how to videos on patching drywall...and maybe practice a little. The tools you will need are as follows: Stud Finder: https://amzn.to/3wZOqhX Painter's Tape (not necessary but nice to have): https://amzn.to/454EK2h Drill & Drill Bit: Spray Foam (Big gap filler) https://amzn.to/4gXPp49 Scraper: https://amzn.to/455DLPe Drywall Compound: https://amzn.to/3VnMh9g Good luck and Thank you for watching! #design #home #energyefficient Music: Music: Bensound.com License code: GSUE0GE5VCWUJ7EP
