Settling a 7x7 Volcano Pillar in Dwarf Fortress

I'm limiting myself to a 7x7 pillar entombed in lava, meaning I only have 25 tiles to actually build a functioning fortress that can handle looming threats from abroad and within. I made this map by spending 3 years manually mining it out and pumping lava up from the magma sea to flood everything, which is what you see to the left of the pillar. Full rules: No interacting with the map (Mining, chopping, fishing, etc) outside of the 7x7 pillar, but I can trade and take things from the corpses of raiders. No raiding until I can be raided.
