From Classrooms to Life: Jamaica
How can we break the cycle of poverty? It takes time and resources. Christel House doesn’t ship boxes or write checks. It makes a decades-long, multi-generational bet on children living in extreme poverty in India, Jamaica, Mexico, South Africa, United States and soon to be Colombia, and Nepal. This is not charity. It is a long-term investment in human potential, and it is proving, school by school, that the cycle of extreme poverty can be broken in one generation. In an era of education funding cuts and mounting inequality, that commitment is not just admirable, it is urgent. This short documentary captures the impact of Christel House and shares the experience with audiences who may never have the opportunity to visit one of our schools firsthand. It tells the story of what becomes possible when children and families are surrounded by comprehensive support for 18+ years. 🧑🧑🧒🧒 This is edit spotlights Christel House Jamaica. 🇯🇲 Join us on this journey.
