Take notice of sign posts or road markings, if there aren’t any use the right hand lane. Indicate right and move into the middle of the right hand lane, maintaining a dominant lane position to prevent other vehicles from trying to squeeze past in the same lane. Approach the roundabout in a central position, reduce the speed of the motorcycle and select the correct gear as you slow down. Look early into the roundabout, assess the traffic flow and decide to ride on if clear, or stop if it isn’t. On the final approach to the roundabout should use the rear brake only.
