Turns out 'stationery' isn't just paper; it's also pens, journals, planners, stamps, stickers, and little plastic cars that clean up eraser shavings with partial success. And this stationery stuff is arguably bigger than ever before, fueled by social media and intense likability. This is a feature-length video about stationery, buying stuff, and community. When the staff member said "It's a stationery event," the passerby literally stopped in her tracks and said, "Wait, stationery?!" And I think that kind of sums up how rapid the growth of this hobby has been. I also spent a long time scrubbing through every episode of Summer Camp Island to try to find a very specific clip where Susie is reading a newspaper and says, "haha, thinkpiece. Nice." But I couldn't find it.
