ReaX23: The (Alleged) Age of Apocalypse

The time has come, after two seasons of teasing, APOCALYPSE IS HERE...kinda. Sure, he may be more of a glorified macguffin but don't worry this episode still has all the dramatic weight you'd expect after S2 blew everything out of the water. We're talking Gambit third-wheeling the wolvebros and....other things....probably. Oh, Storm actually does stuff. So, that's neat. Honestly, it's kind of a testament to this show's ability to grow and change that we have managed to leave the procedural model behind so completely that even two-part season finales are just stepping stones towards a larger plot. I just hope the people behind the show know how few steps they have left... Jokes aside, it's a solid set-up for another big bad and promises a really fun and intriguing version of Apocalypse...I just wish we'd actually gotten to see it.
