Wild Camping In The Dolomites
I hiked from Ortisei to Seceda, one of the most famous viewpoints in the Dolomites, known for its dramatic ridgeline and panoramic mountain views. This trail is steep, rewarding, and easily one of the best hikes in northern Italy. After reaching Seceda, I continued beyond the trail in search for a quiet spot away from the crowds to spend the night. This video shows the full journey—from the climb out of Ortisei to golden hour in the Dolomites and the calm of the mountains at night. Important: The Dolomites are a protected area. Always check local regulations, camp only where it is permitted, and follow Leave No Trace principles to protect these landscapes.
