We hit another Log, also destroyed our Jib. Awesome Week. (Ep 308)

We collided with yet another log! This is the 4th one in 12 months and I'm over it! Fortunately this collision was not too bad and we only suffered minimal damage to the rudder and were able to continue on or way. I will repair the rudder at a later date. After that we had a pretty relaxing sail and anchored at an amazingly beautiful island. It's not often that you get an island all to yourself in Indonesia and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Later a boat full of locals came past and told us this particular island was sacred and thought to be possessed by devil spirits and that we shouldn't go ashore under any circumstances! Wow ok. A few days later, sailing to a new island our Jib started to break apart. I've sort of been waiting for it too happen so wasn't too surprised when it blew apart. Now we are in need of an expensive new sail!
