Unser Tag in Tunis 🇹🇳 Carthago vs. Medina – was lohnt sich wirklich?“

Tunis left us with mixed feelings. Carthage – a historically rich city we had been looking forward to – was a definite disappointment. While there are Roman ruins with remnants of walls and individual columns, everything is so poorly preserved that it's difficult to see much. It wasn't worth it for us – and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Sidi Bou Said was a completely different story: whitewashed houses, blue doors and shutters, narrow alleyways, and a view of the sea. Perfect for strolling, truly beautiful, and absolutely worth seeing. The Medina of Tunis was our highlight. Narrow streets, colorful doors, and countless small cafes. You simply wander around... Delicious tea, really good food, and incredibly friendly people. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed – perfect for exploring.
