Subaru Crosstrek speaker upgrade 2025

Installing aftermarket speakers in a Subaru is incredibly simple and with a little planning ahead of time, something you can do yourself. On this 2025 Crosstrek Premium I installed Kicker KS Series in both the front and rear doors. Below is the gear I've installed and have been incredibly happy with. Note: No aftermarket Amp has been installed. I was looking for clear, realistic sound. Goal achieved. Bojo Trim Panel Tools Rear doors: Kicker 51KSC6704 Metra 72-8104 harness (no cutting or crimping req'd) Metra 82-8148 mounting bracket Front doors: Kicker 51KSC69304 Metra 72-8104 writing harness (wire cut, crimp required for crossover) Metra 82-8146 mounting brackets Front doors required an in-line crossover (which is provided by Kicker). I highly recommend you carefully mount the front speaker crossover on the surface of the door where the electronics / cables plug into the removable panel. Do not set it completely inside the door well itself, i.e. behind the speaker. This Keeps it away from possible moisture.
