Have you ever wanted to know what the inside of a bilge pump looks like?

We all use these bilge pumps for various tasks, but I never knew how they were put together. It's interesting how well a single rubber seal can keep the motor canister dry over as many years as it does. My mind just loves taking things apart, and sometimes, putting them back together again. I am dreaming up projects that can be done in a much smaller workshop once I arrive in Australia, and this is the very first step in what will likely be a long drawn out process of designing an electric dredge that really sucks! (We're like a year away from that I think) I'm interested in the Bamboo Labs P1S 3d Printer as my introduction to 3D printing in Australia Anyone out there have any tips or opinions on these things? Also, I cant stop thinking about swapping a brushless motor into this thing... Cheers!
