105 years old and still going strong! Steam locomotive 38 2267 (built in 1918) is back under steam after almost six years of overhaul. The last run of the P8 was on October 14, 2017. Much has changed since then. A new entrance building, and the railway museum is once again operating its own trains in the Ruhr Valley. Then there was the pandemic. In this video, we revisit this period and accompany the old lady on her first journey under her own power in April 2023. In August, she finally hit the tracks. We filmed the load test run on August 15, 2023, as well as her first regular run in the Ruhr Valley on September 2. Welcome back, old lady!
