I'm worried about DMZ 2...Here's why

DMZ is officially coming back in Call of Duty MW4, and as someone who lived in MW2 DMZ, I want DMZ 2 to be incredible. But I’m worried. In this video, I break down why MW4 DMZ looks exciting, why the new DMZ could bring back the best parts of Call of Duty’s extraction shooter mode, and the two biggest problems that could kill it fast: cheating and long-term support. If Activision and Infinity Ward do not support DMZ past Modern Warfare 4 launch, and if Warzone DMZ-style cheating issues are not handled, DMZ 2 could be dead on launch. This is not hate. I want Call of Duty DMZ to win. But DMZ needs more than hype. It needs real anti-cheat, meaningful updates, strong solo DMZ support, balanced DMZ PvP, a good new map, better progression, and a reason for players to keep deploying after launch. If you played MW2 DMZ, Warzone DMZ, solo DMZ, or any extraction shooter, this is the question: is Modern Warfare 4 DMZ the comeback we’ve been waiting for, or another mode Call of Duty abandons too soon? DMZ is the extraction mode introduced in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, where players drop into a hostile map, complete objectives, fight AI and other operators, and must extract alive to keep their loot. It was discontinued after Modern Warfare III and is expected to return with MW4.
