EDIFICIO PAPELERA
El curso 20-21 hemos comenzado a habitar el Edificio Papelera. Una construcción industrial de mediados del siglo XX creada para Fundiciones Taibo y sede de Papelera de Nervión desde 1995 hasta mayo de 2007. Jesús Arrecubieta y Ricardo Ruiz, profesores de la Escuela de Diseño de Interiores de IED Kunsthal Bilbao, y socios del estudio ABR+ Arquitectos fueron los responsables del proyecto de adaptación del espacio, un espacio diáfano, enorme, impresionante, a las necesidades operativas y educativas de Kunsthal. De habitar lo que denominaron "una catedral industrial". Este breve audiovisual recoge el concepto y el proceso de dicha obra, con el fin de hacer entender qué se hizo y por qué se hizo.
